In my family, this traditionally involves the participant being dunked completely underwater several times... just to make sure. Rumor even has it that some kids are dunked head first while being held by the ankles. Lucky for Eva we decided to leave the Dark Ages behind and move to a more "civilized" form of baptism instead. :)

She was delivered by Dr. Brian Heyman at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD. We originally planned for a vaginal delivery, but Eva chose to wrap her umbilical cord around her neck twice. The end result was an emergency C-section. On the bright side, at least Sarah won't have to endure hours of labor again for our next baby. Sarah was having enough of labor anyway. She had been enduring nasty, excruciatingly painful and tortuous contractions for the past 4 days.
