Technically, this isn't a road trip, as we flew to South Florida briefly near the end of June of 2007. I suppose you could count the drive from the airport to Sarah's uncle's house on the water near Islamorada.
The pictures you see here were taken near Sarah's uncle's property. This single area contains such a wide variety of plant, wildlife, and aquatic life.
What better way to start than to show a picture of someone who might have hitched a ride with us on the flight down from Balitmore. We saw him crawl under the elevator on the outside of the house:

One thing I really loved about this place is some of the live food pretty birds that we saw.
