I thought these were birds from from far off!

I was also surprised to find these considering we were about 200 miles inland. But alas, I was corrected once again, the sea, it turns out, did not flood over the coast overnight and bring these shells in.

As we walked down Shenandoah Street into town, we could not help but notice the beauty of the exposed rock formations.

Of course, going into town provided a nice contrast to all of these images.
