So we tried putting Puss on a diet... and failed.

Puss is our biggest cat. His girth and mass seem to defy all measures of reality. However, even with his, um... stature... he is still capable of amazing jumps as well as impressive climbing skills. Not too long ago I found him perched on an old mattress.

As I was concerned that he would leave a crater if he decided to jump off of the mattress... I picked him up myself and removed him. My back hurt for a month afterwards.
