Rather than head back south into Arizona to head back westward, we decided to head north on US 191 up to I-70 in Southern Utah, and then take that west towards I-15 south to Las Vegas. We figured there should be something worth seeing in Arches National Park near Moab, UT. The only problem was that we hit a massive snowstorm that dragged our trip into and out of this state into a "12 hour tour." The first place of note that we passed on our way up was a town called Mexican Hat, as shown below:
We should have tried to dance around it! |

After driving by Mexican Hat, we made our way up to Arches National Park near Moab, Utah. We didn't see many arches, though!
Why do these look familiar? |

The weather looked really nice in these photos. We had no idea we would be in for one heck of a snowstorm during the rest of our way through Utah! Oh well, 12 hours later we were finally out of the state.
