Unfortunately we only got to spend one day in Yellowstone National Park, so we decided to get up as early as possible and trek around till nightfall before driving off.
The first thing we noticed upon re-entering the park was that there were a lot of unusual rock formations in addition to the geysers for which the park is most well known:
