After we waited for Old Faithful to take its time and erupt, we continued our further exploration of the Park.
I think the boiling mudpits are overshadowed by Yellowstone's geysers, hopefully these pictures will shed some much-needed publicity on these oddities:

Yellowstone is also chock-full of pools of boiling water and holes in the ground from which steam just gradually rises into the air. The only thing is this steam stinks! If you love the smell of sulfur in the morning, then this is your place!
